Teaching Philosophy

 

My goal as a teacher is to create an environment that enables students to think for themselves. I believe it is essential for fine and performing arts teachers to provide open-ended assignments and problems to solve. This structure empowers students to utilize their visual and music thinking skills. They will gain the confidence needed to think creatively and apply these skills in other areas of their life.
